The supremacy of the vest – the new cool jacket

From a desire to reinvent fashion, every season, designers come up with proposals that revolutionize, to some extent, the concept of style. This is why, this season, traditional jackets and coats are replaced  with warm and very chic vests.

The vest is far from being a new element in our wardrobes, but, in the last period, it experienced a huge comeback in the seasonal preferences, gradually advancing towards becoming a customary, daily clothing option.

The vest can enjoy its supremacy especially during winter. The need of thermal comfort makes this item easy to integrate in any outfit, worn underneath other pieces or instead of a jacket. The latter option is the most in vogue right now, being an original way to approach winter dressing. So, at least temporarily, leave your regular coat at home and replace it with a thick vest.

The fur vest

Current proposals offer a wide range of designs and the most appreciated one is of course, the fur vest. From purely objective reasons, this is the favorite design of the current season. Natural or animal friendly, the fur vest claims its high ranking status, matching both casual and evening outfits.

The coat type vest

The second place in seasonal preferences is held by a new entry: the coat type, cotton vest. Its cut is identical to that of a coat, but it doesn't have sleeves. It accompanies the winter outfits perfectly. You can wear it over a thick sweater, but to get an even more stylish layering effect wear it over a leather jacket.

The knitted vest

The leather vest
